Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9:30 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (254) 307-8917. Waco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Waco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

It came out less than five minutes after I ordered, and it honestly tasted like the noodles were barely seasoned. The sauce looked almost nonexistent, and the whole dish was bland and disappointing. The staff was also unfriendly. Definitely not worth my 18 dollars.

First time we went, they were closing in 30 minutes, so the kitchen was already closed. So we ordered thai chai tea and Ube & cream. They were so delicious. Therefore, we went there again today just to dry their Taiwanese cold noodles and the pork bao. The cashier misunderstood our order so instead of the pork bao, we got the braised pork with rice. No wonder he was asking for so many side dishes. Anyway, they tried to fix the order but we had already so much food and I dont think we can finished them. So it was all good. The Taiwanese cold noodles with peanut sauce was refreshing and really good. The bruised pork with rice was also delicious. The pork was very tender and tasty. The soup dumplings were excellent. The dough was soft and not chewy. The side dishes like Kim chi, cucumber salad and Asian slaw all complimented the main dish. Their macha latte and the ube/cream were so good. The ube was made with real ube made inhouse. Will definitely recommend.

We love Cha Community Bobba Teas! They use REAL tea. Many boba tea places use powder and they tastes fake! I like Oat milk and they use one of the highest quality oat milk. We have tried other high review rated places in DFW and Houston areas etc. We think that they are one of the best places to get Bobba Tea for sure! All the staffs are very friendly.

Cha Community is my belly’s happy place. πŸ’š They are truly the embodiment of community; Welcoming, intentional, and full of soul. Their matcha is absolutely unmatched, the dumplings are unreal, and the Vietnamese pancakes are next-level every single time. You can taste the care and love in everything they serve. Whether you’re stopping in for comfort food, connection, or just a peaceful moment in Waco, Cha Community always delivers. A genuine gem.

We love Cha Community! Their drink selection is incredible, and their matcha is hands-down our favorite. We’ve been to a lot of boba shops, but the texture and flavor of their boba is some of the best we’ve had. They also have amazing food optionsβ€”our go-to is always the dumplings. What really sets Cha Community apart, though, is the atmosphere. It’s such a rare find: a place with fantastic food and drinks that also feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely safe to hang out in. We can’t recommend Cha Community enoughβ€”absolutely worth a visit πŸ’•
